Why this shop exists

Most budget templates are pretty screenshots with three working formulas behind them. Most printable planners are one page size, one colour scheme, and a PDF that falls apart when you print it. We got tired of that.

Tidy Cents makes the version we wanted: spreadsheets where every formula is tested, printables that come in both paper sizes and an ink-saving version, and planners for people whose brains do not run on neat 9-to-5 rails.

How the products are made

Spreadsheets are built cell by cell, then every formula is recalculated and checked against an independent calculation — the totals, the payoff schedules, the savings-rate maths. Files ship only when the error count is zero and the sanity checks pass, including a test where all the sample data is deleted to make sure nothing breaks in your hands. We deliberately avoid macros, XLOOKUP and anything else that fails in Google Sheets, so the same file works in Excel 2016, Excel 365, Sheets, and on your phone.

Printables are generated as vector PDFs at print resolution, in US Letter and A4, in colour and in an ink-saving version. Every page is reviewed as an image before release so nothing is cut off at the bottom, cramped, or half empty.

Workbooks and planners cite the research they are based on. The burnout workbook uses the WHO's ICD-11 definition and the three Maslach dimensions; the CBT journal follows the standard thought-record structure; the ADHD planner is built around externalising working memory and the "first two-minute step". Where something is a rule of thumb rather than evidence, we say so.
