The economy is uncertain. Your numbers don't have to be.

Sales slow down, costs rise, customers pay late. Cutting a bit everywhere — or wherever is easiest — often hurts more than it saves. The Crisis Optimizer finds the most effective way to cut costs for your type of business, in your country: the combination of real decisions that reaches the saving you need with the least damage to your sales, and what it does to your money over the next 12 months.

You cannot control the economy. You can know how much your business can survive — and what to do first.

What problems it solves

  • You know you must cut costs, but not whereRent, suppliers, energy, subscriptions, marketing, insurance, working hours, loan payments — the optimizer weighs dozens of real options for your business and picks the combination that hurts sales least.
  • Cash is running lowEvery month of the plan keeps your cash above the reserve you set. If the saving you want is not possible, it shows the most that is — and builds the plan at that level.
  • Cuts that cost more than they saveOne-off costs, lost sales and the time each step needs are counted before you act, so you see the real saving, month by month.
  • Not knowing what breaks firstWhen sales slow, costs rise or customers pay late — know exactly what breaks first, and which step protects you.
  • No view of the months ahead12-month charts of revenue, costs, cash and profit: your current course against the plan.
  • Talks with the bank, partners or your accountantA clear printed report with every step, every number and the charts.

No AI guesses. Every result is calculated, tested and traceable.

AI can generate an answer. Tidy Cents shows the calculation. A mathematical optimizer checks the possible combinations of steps for your numbers and proves which one is best; every amount is re-checked to the cent. Same numbers in — same plan out. Every assumption named, every result reproducible.

What you get

  • Three ready plans: the least lost profit, keep your whole team, and the most cash by month 3.
  • Every step with its start month, monthly saving, one-off cost and effect on sales.
  • Steps that need someone else's agreement — a landlord, a supplier — clearly marked.
  • 12-month charts of revenue, costs, cash and profit.
  • A printable report with the charts (subscribers).
  • Your answers kept: change one number and get a new plan in seconds (subscribers).

How it works

  1. Choose your business — from a café or a clinic to a construction firm or an online shop.
  2. Enter your numbers. Every field explains itself (ⓘ). If something does not exist in your business, leave it blank — the calculation runs without it.
  3. Set the saving you need: over 12 months, as a monthly figure, or as cash over the next 3 months.
  4. Get your plan in seconds.

Your country's rules are built in

When a step touches pay or working hours, the plan shows what the current law of your country — and of your state or province, where it adds rules — requires: notice, procedure and whose agreement is needed. The rules are checked against official sources and re-verified every month. Collective agreements or individual contracts may require more, and the plan says so.

Why a subscription

A plan is made for today's conditions, and they do not stay put: prices, demand, rent and laws change. Subscribers update their numbers whenever something changes, re-run the plan, compare it with the actual month and print the report — and every country's rules are re-checked monthly.

Questions

Is it really free to try?

Yes. Your first full calculation is free, with no sign-up and no card. Changing the data, new runs and the printed report are for subscribers ($20 a month).

Will it tell me to let people go?

Only if that is truly the least damaging option — and you can rule it out with one tick. The "No layoffs" plan never reduces staff, and staff are referred to by role, never by name.

What if I don't have some of the numbers?

Leave them blank. The calculation runs without them and lists what it did not take into account.

Does it use AI?

No. It is a deterministic mathematical optimizer: the same numbers always give the same plan, and every result can be traced back to your inputs.

Where does it work?

In 43 countries where one of our 8 languages is spoken, including every US state and Canadian province — except the United Kingdom.

Do you see my figures?

The calculation runs in your own browser. Subscribers' answers are saved with their subscription so the plan can be re-run.

Can I cancel?

Anytime, from the app. Billing is handled by Stripe.

The Crisis Optimizer is a calculation tool, not legal, tax or financial advice. It computes statutory minimums from the rules it lists; it does not decide whether a dismissal is justified and does not replace advice from a lawyer or accountant in your country.
