Most decisions are judged by what they cost if everything goes to plan. The expensive surprises come from the other side: the lease you cannot leave, the deposit that stopped being refundable last Tuesday, the contract that renewed itself for another year because the notice deadline passed while you were busy. Undo answers one question before you sign — if this turns out to be a mistake, what does it cost to get out, and how does that change over time?
You describe each option you are weighing — a long lease or a flexible one, buying equipment or leasing it, hiring or contracting — as the commitments it is made of: upfront payments and refund windows, recurring payments, minimum terms, notice periods, early-termination fees, auto-renewal, the resale value of anything you own (always as a range, never one guaranteed number) and the cost of switching. Undo then calculates the exit cost of every option for every date ahead: the payments you would still owe, plus fees and switching costs, minus the refunds still open and what you could sell for. Money already spent is shown separately and never mixed into the comparison.
The result is a calendar, not an opinion: the exit cost of each option over time, the dates when that cost jumps, the point where one option becomes cheaper to leave than another, and a step-by-step exit plan for any date you choose — with the notice deadlines you can add to your own calendar. If a term is missing or contradicts another, Undo says which field instead of guessing. No AI guesses. Every result is calculated, tested and traceable, and everything runs on your device.

Questions
Is this legal advice?
No. Undo is decision support: it applies the contract terms you enter, exactly as you enter them. Whether a term is enforceable, or what your contract really says, is a question for the contract itself or a professional.
Why is resale value a range?
Because nobody can promise what a used asset will sell for. You give a low and a high estimate; Undo shows the exit cost for both, so the band tells you how much of the answer depends on that guess.
Why is money already spent shown separately?
Money you have already paid and cannot get back is the same whichever way you decide next. Mixing it into the exit cost would make the option you have already paid for look cheaper to keep than it is.
What happens if I leave a field empty?
Optional amounts can stay empty. If a field the calculation needs is missing or contradicts another — a fixed term with no length, a resale low above the high — the option is marked INCOMPLETE and the exact field is named. Undo never fills it in for you.
