Who we are

Tidy Cents is operated by Perco Ltd, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. It is an independent digital-products store selling budget spreadsheets, printable planners and workbooks as instant downloads. It also offers the Business Decision X-Ray and the Control Room, decision-support software described below. Contact: /support.

What you are buying

Digital files (PDF, XLSX and PDF guides) delivered as a ZIP download, and access to software used in your browser: the Business Decision X-Ray, Control Room Lifetime and Control Room subscriptions, described below. Nothing physical is shipped. Prices are in US dollars. Where sales tax or VAT applies it is shown at checkout.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe (debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay). You can pay as a guest — no account needed. We never see or store your card details. Your order is fulfilled once Stripe confirms the payment; occasionally a payment is marked "pending" while it clears, in which case your files unlock automatically once it does.

Card payments are made under Stripe Managed Payments, with Stripe as the merchant of record for the purchase: your receipt and card statement show the payment as "Sold through Link".

Delivery

Download links appear on your order page immediately after payment and stay valid. You can return to that page at any time, including for free updates to the products you bought. If you lose the link, use "Find my order" with the email address you used at checkout, or write to us.

License

Files and software access are licensed, not sold — see the License page. You may use them yourself, in your household and, for business products, in your own business and in the services you provide to your clients, without a separate license; resale or redistribution of the products themselves only under a separate written license.

Refunds

See the Refund Policy: any purchase is refunded if you ask within 14 days of payment — including the Business Decision X-Ray, Control Room Lifetime and the first payment of a subscription; in addition, a full refund where a product has a proven fault, such as a calculation or file error, and you tell us within 24 hours of payment; and faulty files are always refunded in full. By completing checkout (for downloads) or paying in the payment window (for the Business Decision X-Ray and Control Room plans) you give your prior express consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and confirm that you thereby lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal; our 14-day refund applies all the same. Your statutory rights over faulty content are not affected.

Business Decision X-Ray and the Control Room

What it is. Decision-support software for small businesses. It is not an AI product: your results come from fixed, tested formulas that run in your browser, not from an artificial-intelligence model. Results depend on the numbers and assumptions you enter and are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice.

QuickBooks Online. Connecting QuickBooks Online is optional and read-only: Tidy Cents never creates, changes or deletes anything in your QuickBooks company, and imported figures are applied to your profile only after you review and accept them. During the free trial you can import up to 5 times per business in any 24 hours; paid plans have no daily limit, only a pause of 1 minute between imports to stop automated abuse.

QuickBooks Online without an account. Without an account you may import from QuickBooks Online once per browser and per QuickBooks company in any 24 hours, read-only; our access is revoked straight after the read. Free imports may be paused when our monthly capacity is reached.

Free trial. New accounts no longer get a free trial (since 14 October 2026). Instead, an open demo of every section on fictional example businesses and a short free express check on your own numbers are available without an account. A free 7-day trial that started before that date runs to its end on its original terms; when it ends, the paid screens lock until you choose a plan, and your data is not deleted.

Free X-Ray without an account. The one complete free X-Ray run on your own numbers without an account ended on 14 October 2026. Without an account you can use the open demo (fixed example data; own data entry and import are off) and the free express check, which runs in your browser on a few of your own numbers; we do not receive those figures and provide no storage, recovery or support for them. To the extent permitted by law, the demo and the express check are offered as is and may be changed or withdrawn; your statutory consumer rights are unaffected (see “What we do not promise”).

Plans. Paid access is sold either as a one-time purchase or as a subscription that is billed in advance through Stripe for the period shown at checkout and renews automatically until you cancel it. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay.

Cancelling. You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing page. It stays active until the end of the period already paid, and no further payment is taken. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and your access continues meanwhile; if it still fails, access pauses until the payment method is updated. Your data is kept in every case.

Refunds of subscription payments. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period shown at checkout (a week, a month or a year); you can cancel at any time on the billing page and keep access until the end of the period already paid. Any subscription payment, including a renewal, is refunded if you ask within 14 days of that payment; see the subscriptions section of the Refund Policy.

Closing your account. Closing your account ends your Business Decision X-Ray subscription at once; the rest of the period already paid is not refunded unless the Refund Policy says otherwise. A Plus or Advisor subscription is linked to your email address and is cancelled separately.

Buyers in the United Kingdom. We do not sell to buyers in the United Kingdom. A purchase made with a UK card, a UK billing address or from a UK network location is refused or refunded.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to this site, and do not use automated means to scrape or bulk-download products.

What we do not promise

The products are tools, not advice. Our spreadsheets, planners and business tools are for organising your own money or business and do not constitute financial, legal, tax, medical or psychological advice. Our workbooks that touch on mental health are educational and are not therapy or a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified professional for your own circumstances.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the last change. Continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
