A decision operating system

Don't just stress-test your business. Repair it.

Most cash tools stop at a forecast, a few scenarios and a dashboard. Tidy Cents goes further: it tests the decision you are about to make, finds what would have to be true, repairs it with the smallest change within your limits, verifies the repair with a full re-run — and follows the decision after you make it.

Below, steps 1–11 also show a live result: the sample business decides to hire a senior designer. Steps 12–16 run after the decision, on your own monthly actuals.

AI is good for drafting and ideas. For a decision that can cost you payroll, use a calculation you can check.

When the decision matters

When sales slow, costs rise or customers pay late — know exactly what breaks first.

Can I still make payroll?

See the exact day cash drops below your reserve, and which customer can push it there.

Should I take this big order?

60-day payment terms can turn a profitable job into a cash hole. Find the deposit and terms that keep your reserve before you sign.

What if sales drop 20%?

Find the sales floor your business can stand on — and the smallest change that raises it.

Can I afford to hire?

The largest salary your cash can carry from a given start date, with the ramp-up included.

The flagship

Business Decision X-Ray

One profile. Nine critical tests. One exact action plan — what breaks first, on which date, by how much, and the smallest change that fixes it.

01

Financial Foundation

Cash, reserve, fixed costs, payroll, debt, tax set-aside, margin — and your real break-even.

Does the business earn enough to carry what it owes each month?

02

Cash Survival

How long the business lives, the most dangerous day, the lowest balance and the time you have to react.

When does cash first fall below the reserve?

03

Revenue Shock

How far sales can fall before the reserve breaks, and the lowest monthly sales that keep it.

How much of a sales drop can you absorb?

04

Cost Shock

How far costs can rise, which cost makes you most vulnerable, and which cut helps most.

Which cost could hurt you first?

05

Customer Dependency

Revenue share versus liquidity-risk share — and which customer really controls payroll.

Who can break your payroll?

06

Payment Delay

30-, 60- or 90-day terms, how many days of delay you survive, which invoices to chase first and the deposit that closes the gap.

How late can customers pay before it hurts?

07

Deal Safety

Whether to take the order, the real cost of waiting, and the lowest price, deposit and payment terms that keep your reserve.

Can you accept this deal as offered?

08

Decision Testing

A hire, equipment, ads, premises, new market, inventory, discount, loan or losing a customer — each with the largest size your reserve can carry.

What is the largest version of this decision your reserve can carry?

09

Action Plan

What breaks first, on which date, by how much, the smallest fix — Now / Next / Monitor — plus the PDF Business Survival Report.

What exactly do you do next?

How it works

Enter your numbers once. Test every decision against them.

  1. Enter your numbers once

Cash, reserve, sales, margin, costs, payroll, loans and customers — typed in about ten minutes, or taken from a bank statement file.

  2. The engine runs every test

A day-by-day simulation checks survival, shocks, customers, delays, deals and decisions on the same numbers.

  3. You get dates, amounts and one plan

What breaks first, when, by how much — and the smallest change that fixes it, verified by re-running the simulation.

One simple monthly price, set by the number of businesses.

Every plan is the whole product. You pay only for how many separate businesses you run in it. See every section first in the open demo.

Every plan includes the complete Business Decision X-Ray.

X-Ray, Decide, Simulate, Fix, Verify, Track, Recheck, your business’s digital twin, reports and decision history.

No feature tiers. You pay for the number of businesses you run.

Prices in USD; taxes are added where required. Cancel any time — access continues until the end of the paid month.

What it checks — and what it does not

The X-Ray tests the financial circuit of your business: cash, costs, customers, payment terms and decisions. It does not assess legal, HR, cyber-security or marketing risk, and it does not give tax or investment advice.

Decision support, not financial, tax or legal advice. Results follow only from the numbers you enter and the assumptions stated for each calculation.

Questions

Is this an AI product?

No. There is no language model anywhere in the calculation. The X-Ray runs fixed formulas on your numbers with exact decimal arithmetic, and shows every formula it used.

Do you see my financial data?

No. The engine runs in your browser and your profile is stored on your device. Encrypted sync is optional, and even then we cannot read it. A bank or QuickBooks connection passes the figures through our server to your browser without storing them.

Can I import my bank statement?

Yes — CSV, OFX/QFX, CAMT.053 and MT940 files from any bank. The X-Ray groups incoming payments by customer and works out each customer's share of your sales, so you don't have to calculate it by hand. Small customers are combined into “all others”.

Is it a subscription?

Yes: $40 a month for one business, $100 for up to 10, $350 for up to 50. There is no free trial — the open demo shows every section first. Cancel any time: access continues to the end of the paid month, and your data is never deleted.

Does it give tax, legal or investment advice?

No. It tests the financial circuit of your business — cash, costs, customers, payment terms and decisions — and shows the calculation. It is decision support, not advice.

You cannot control the economy. You can know how much your business can survive.

Open the demo — every section, no sign-up. Choose a plan when you want it on your own numbers.
