One question, one answer

22 pages, one question each. The figure itself, who or what it applies to, the primary document it was read out of and the date it was read — then a link to the calculator that uses it.

How these pages are built
  • One page answers one question. Where two questions have the same answer there is one page and not two: the joint schedule says outright that a qualifying surviving spouse uses it, instead of a second page repeating the same seven rows.
  • Every figure is read from one of our two open datasets, and each dataset carries the primary document and the retrieval date for every row. Anything worked out from those figures is labelled as arithmetic rather than passed off as law.
  • The answer sits in the HTML, before any script runs. A reader with JavaScript switched off and a machine that never runs it see the same sentence and the same numbers.

The whole dataset

Every figure on this page, and everything around it, as a table you can read and as CSV and JSON you can download. Public domain, no attribution required.
