One workbook for the whole year. Set it up once on the Settings tab (currency, start month, your categories and income), then just log what you spend. The Dashboard, monthly summaries, 50/30/20 check, category analysis and net worth chart all update themselves.

Inside are 18 linked sheets and 7,025 formulas: a 1,000-row Expense Log with category and payment dropdowns, a 300-row Income Log, an Annual Budget grid for every category and month, a Bills Tracker with 12 paid check-marks and a Cash Flow Calendar that shows which bills land on which day. Debt payoff uses the same NPER maths as a loan calculator; savings goals and sinking funds tell you exactly how much to put aside each month.

It ships with three months of realistic sample data for a fictional household so every chart is alive the moment you open it — clear the yellow cells in a minute and make it yours. Does it work in Google Sheets?

Yes. Upload the .xlsx to Google Drive, open it and choose File → Save as Google Sheets. Every formula uses functions Sheets supports (SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, NPER, EDATE and friends); there are no macros, no XLOOKUP and no dynamic arrays. The included PDF walks you through it.

Can I change the currency?

Yes. Type any symbol on the Settings tab ($, €, £, ¥, CHF, kr…). It appears in the Dashboard labels, and the numbers use your computer's regional format for thousands and decimals.

Can I add or rename categories?

Yes. The Settings tab has 60 categories in 16 groups plus 10 blank rows. Rename, regroup, re-type (Need / Want / Saving) or add your own — every other sheet picks the change up automatically.

Which Excel versions are supported?

Excel 2016 or newer on Windows and Mac, Excel 365 and Excel Online. It also opens in Apple Numbers and LibreOffice, though charts and colour rules can look slightly different there.

Is it really sample data I can delete?

Yes. Three months (January–March) for a fictional household are pre-filled in the yellow input cells only. The PDF lists the exact ranges; select the yellow cells and press Delete. Formulas, dropdowns and charts stay intact.
