How it works
- Record the incident. Product or job group, batch, defect type, units affected, found internally or by the customer.
- Add the costs. Materials, labour time, delivery, refunds and supplier recoveries — each with one source reference.
- Review the evidence. Keep causes as hypotheses until your tests or measurements confirm or reject them.
- Compare improvements. Saving S = V × (p₀ − p₁) × c_f − recurring cost; payback only when the saving is positive.
- Track the outcome. Compare batches before and after the change at the same age and export the reports.
Limits
No automatic root-cause proof; scenario savings are not guaranteed; no regulatory quality certification. The warranty reserve is a planning scenario, not an accounting provision.

Does it use AI?
No. The tool uses explicit calculations and rules. Results depend on the records and assumptions you enter.
Do I need a subscription?

Where is my data stored?
Working records are stored on your device. Keep a backup, especially before changing browsers, clearing browser data or moving to another device.
Can several people edit the same workspace at once?
This version is designed for one local workspace. It does not provide simultaneous shared editing.
Can I move my records to another device?
Yes. Export a full backup and restore it in the same product on the other device.
Does it connect to my bank or accounting software?
This version works with direct entry and supported file imports. It does not automatically connect to your bank or accounting system.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes. The demo contains fictional records and prepared scenarios so you can inspect the screens and results before buying.
Does it prove what caused a defect?
No. Causes stay hypotheses until you confirm or reject them with your own evidence. Differences between batches or suppliers are shown as statistical associations, not as proof.
Are the savings guaranteed?
No. Savings are scenario results from the rates and costs you enter, or statistical estimates from observed batches. A payback period is shown only when the calculated saving is positive.
How does it avoid counting the same cost twice?
Each cost record has one source reference. A second record with the same source — for example a refund imported from Returns & Exchange Control — is flagged and not counted unless you confirm it is a separate amount. The value of one unit is written off only once, even if it appears in an internal defect and a customer return.
Does it work for a service business?
Yes. Instead of batches you group completed jobs, for example by month or quarter. No SKU is required.
Is the warranty reserve an accounting figure?
No. It is a planning scenario from your own assumptions, shown separately from recorded costs and from accounting recognition.
