Every row of both files ends up in exactly one class — same, changed, only in A, only in B, unresolved duplicate or invalid — and the counts per file always add up to its number of rows. When several rows share a key, the tool proposes the cheapest pairing by your column weights and checks whether another pairing is just as good; if it is, the group stays open for your decision.
Files are read on your device. CSV (UTF-8) and XLSX sheets are loaded as read-only datasets with their source row numbers and a SHA-256 hash; formula cells keep their formula text and the last value stored by the spreadsheet program, which is never presented as a fresh recalculation.

How it works
- Load both files. Choose file A and file B (CSV UTF-8 or XLSX), the sheet, the header row and the delimiter. Nothing is uploaded.
- Map columns and choose the key. Match differently named columns, choose types and source formats, then the column or columns that identify a record.
- Review the differences. See same, changed, only-in-A, only-in-B, duplicate and invalid rows with the explanation and the numeric totals.
- Clean a copy and export. Preview and confirm cleaning steps, apply them to a new dataset and export the values, changes, exceptions and rules.
Limits
Compares the values stored in the files under the rules you choose. It does not run macros, recalculate formulas, follow external links or prove that the underlying accounts are correct. Exports are values only.
Questions
Does row order matter?
Not for unique-key matching. Rows are matched by the key you choose, so a reordered export does not create changes.
Does it overwrite my original files?
No. Files are loaded as read-only datasets; cleaning always creates a new copy, and an applied cleaning can be undone.
Can it recalculate formulas?
No. It reads the formula text and the last value the spreadsheet program stored. A formula without a stored value is shown as unknown.
Can it resolve every duplicate automatically?
No; ambiguity stays visible. For duplicate keys it proposes a pairing and shows whether another pairing is equally good — you confirm or choose the pairs.
Does this use AI?
No. Calculations follow the rules and assumptions shown in the tool. The help panel explains the inputs, formulas and limitations.
What is included in a one-time purchase?

Is it included in PRO?
Active PRO Week, Month and Year subscribers can use the full online tool. The offline program for this new tool is included only with a one-time purchase. Your own reports and data backups are not offline-program downloads.
What happens if PRO ends?
You can still view and back up your existing local records. Creating or editing calculations requires renewed PRO or a one-time purchase. A separate one-time purchase remains valid independently of PRO.
Where are my records stored?
The calculation workspace stores records in your browser on this device. Save regular backups. Clearing browser storage can remove local records. Account and purchase records are handled separately by the website.
Can I use another language or currency?
The interface supports English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and Russian. Choose your calculation currency separately from the language. Currency conversion uses the rates or assumptions you enter.
Does the demo accept my data?
No. The demo uses fictional examples and lets you inspect the workflow and sample reports. Your own inputs and imports are available in the full version.
