How it works
- Create a period. Set the dates, currency, statement balances and the sources you want to compare.
- Import sources. Import bank, ledger and processor exports; check the converted signed amounts before anything is saved.
- Review rules and confirm matches. Unique references are confirmed automatically; settlements, date-window and grouped matches are proposals you confirm, reject or split.
- Export the close pack. Explain the remaining differences as exceptions, write the owner comment, keep a backup and close the period.
Limits
No accounting certification; no automatic posting; local action history is editable through access to the device. Grouped matching checks at most 100 000 combinations per candidate group and says when its search was not complete. It does not connect to your bank, convert currencies or prove the cause of a difference.

Does it use AI?
No. The tool uses explicit calculations and rules. Results depend on the records and assumptions you enter.
Do I need a subscription?
No subscription is required for the one-time purchase of this product. Access through TidyCents PRO follows the current PRO terms.
Where is my data stored?
Working records are stored on your device. Keep a backup, especially before changing browsers, clearing browser data or moving to another device.
Can several people edit the same workspace at once?
This version is designed for one local workspace. It does not provide simultaneous shared editing.
Can I move my records to another device?
Yes. Export a full backup and restore it in the same product on the other device.
Does it connect to my bank or accounting software?
This version works with direct entry and supported file imports. It does not automatically connect to your bank or accounting system.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes. The demo contains fictional records and prepared scenarios so you can inspect the screens and results before buying.
Which matches are confirmed automatically?
Only a unique reference with exactly the same amount and currency on both sides. Settlement, date-window and grouped matches are proposals; when two rows fit equally well the result is shown as ambiguous and you decide.
What happens when grouped matching cannot check every combination?
The search stops at 100 000 combinations per candidate group (or after 60 seconds, or when you cancel) and the result is marked “search not complete”. It never claims that no other combination exists.
Can I change a closed month?
Not silently. Reopen creates a new version of the period with your reason; the closed version and its close pack stay in the workspace.
Does it post entries or certify my accounts?
No. It prepares a working reconciliation record and evidence pack. The local action journal can be changed by anyone with access to the device; it is not a tamper-proof audit trail.
