Who it helps: an owner reviewing one online shop or an ecommerce manager comparing sites, countries and devices. Use your existing analytics exports instead of installing another tracking system.

What you enter: map consistent counts to the stages of a closed purchase funnel. Identify the counting unit, cohort and period. Add your expected contribution per completed order and the one-time and recurring cost of a proposed change.

What you learn: see conversion and drop-off at each stage. Compare devices and sources without mixing incompatible groups. Set an explicit target conversion and see additional expected orders, contribution, the maximum improvement budget and simple payback.

Why the economics matters: a larger number of completed orders is not automatically a larger profit. Your result uses the contribution you enter after variable costs. Multiple changes are recalculated together, so the combined opportunity is not an inflated sum of separate fixes.

Worked example from the fictional demo: 10,000 sessions reach a landing page, 5,000 view a product, 1,000 add to the cart, 600 start checkout and 300 pay — 3% in total. Raising the last step from 50% to 60%, with everything else unchanged, gives 360 expected orders: 60 more. At $20 contribution per order that is $1,200 per period; after $200 of recurring cost, $1,000. A $1,800 change pays back in 1.8 periods and leaves $1,200 over three periods; the most you could spend once and still recover it within three periods is $3,000. Fixing the cart step to 70% at the same time gives 420 orders — 120 more, not the 110 you would get by adding the two separate effects.

For medium-sized businesses: keep sites and segments separate, import larger aggregate datasets and export the exact scope being reviewed. Filter by site, country, device, traffic source or cohort; groups are summed only when you confirm they do not overlap and share one cohort, unit and period. The tool does not claim that a difference between two segments proves its cause.

No AI guesses: rates and expected orders are exact fractions, money is exact decimal arithmetic rounded once, and every result shows its working. Open the fixed demo to follow the numbers from sessions to payback, then buy once for the full online tool and the offline file, or use it with an active PRO subscription.

What you get

  • Horizontal purchase funnel of 2–8 stages (vertical on phones): count, rate from the previous stage, drop and a clearly labelled conditional value under every transition.
  • Source definitions that keep numbers comparable: counting unit (session, user or order), cohort, period, time zone, attribution window, site, department and country.
  • Closed-funnel checks: a later stage larger than an earlier one is blocked with the exact stage; 0 ÷ 0 is "not defined", never 0% or NaN; open funnels and event counts are kept apart.
  • Fix scenario panel: several target rates recalculated together, expected orders with 2 decimals, change in contribution, net per period, net over the horizon, simple payback and the maximum one-time budget.
  • Contribution per paid order by source or by site, with optional expected refund cost and period fixed costs; negative contribution is shown as a loss, never as savings.
  • Compare groups by device, site, country, traffic source or cohort with per-day values — no grand total of groups that may not be added up.
  • Import of aggregated CSV/XLSX counts up to 100,000 rows with explicit column and stage mapping, every error and conflict listed before saving.
  • Printable scenario report (PDF via your browser), CSV exports of the funnel, scenarios, segments and data check, CSV template and full local backups in 8 languages.

How it works

  1. Define the source. Counting unit, cohort, period and attribution window — then import your aggregated counts or enter a few totals.
  2. Map and check the stages. Put the stage keys in funnel order. The data check blocks open funnels, unknown units and stages that grow.
  3. Read the funnel. Conversion and drop-off per stage for the whole source or one site, country, device or traffic source.
  4. Price a fix. Enter target rates, costs and a horizon; see extra orders, contribution, payback and the maximum budget — then print or export the report.

Limits

It does not collect visitor behaviour, repair checkout code, guarantee a conversion uplift or replace a controlled experiment. Targets are your assumptions. Inconsistent cohorts and open funnels must be corrected before closed-funnel calculations are used. This version imports mapped aggregate exports, not a live analytics connection, makes no traffic forecast (traffic growth is fixed at 0) and estimates no statistical significance. One currency per workspace. It is not advice on advertising or tax.

Questions

Does it connect to GA4?

This version imports mapped aggregate exports, not a live account connection. You map the columns of your export to the stage key, count, unit and period.

Can it tell me why visitors leave?

It finds the stage and economic consequence, not an unobserved cause. A difference between devices or sources does not prove that a particular page element caused it.

Does it forecast sales?

It calculates stated scenarios using the traffic and rates supplied. Traffic growth is fixed at 0, so each period repeats your source volume.

Why are two improvements not simply added together?

Improving an earlier stage changes how many people reach the later ones. The combined scenario is recalculated over the whole sequence — in the demo 120 extra orders, not 50 + 60 = 110.

What counts as contribution per paid order?

What one completed order leaves after its variable costs — goods, payment and shipping costs, expected refunds — before the period's fixed costs. You enter it; it may be negative.

Can I compare several sites or countries?

Yes. Filter or compare by site, country, device, traffic source or cohort. Groups are added up only when they do not overlap and share one cohort, unit and period; otherwise they are shown side by side.

Is the demo editable?

No, your own data requires full access. The demo uses fictional data and lets you inspect every screen, filter and report.

Does this use AI?

No. Calculations follow fixed formulas with exact arithmetic, and every result shows its working.
