An old phone number on one platform and a correct number on another create a practical problem for customers. Local Visibility & Business Profile Desk starts from the details that are supposed to be correct for each location, then shows exactly where a listing differs — field by field, with the date and source of each observation. It is built for businesses: one shop, or a regional business with up to 25 locations grouped by department or region.

For one location or a regional business: maintain the correct details for each branch, compare dated observations from listing platforms and see exactly which field needs attention. A location with a hidden street address is not treated like a public storefront, and a correction for one branch never overwrites the details of the others.

Check the source: record when a listing was observed and retain its evidence — a note, a link and an attached screenshot. The tool compares names, addresses, phone numbers, website links and opening hours against the canonical details you supply. Unknown information stays unknown rather than becoming a false error, and a later snapshot never changes a report made for an earlier date.

Worked example from the fictional demo: a bike workshop's Facebook page shows the right name, street, city and open status, an old phone number, no website, and the postal code and hours were not checked. The result reads "4 of 6 comparable fields match · 2 unknown" — not a score out of 8. Another directory lists "Unit 21" instead of "Unit 12": different premises, so it is flagged, while extra spaces or letter case in the name are not.

Measure carefully: import available performance reports or enter aggregate observations. Keep call-button clicks, website clicks, directions and views distinct. Compare compatible periods without turning a click into a confirmed customer visit. In the demo, website clicks rise from 300 to 360 over two complete 30-day periods: +60, +20 %, from 10 to 12 a day. Rows with a missing value are "not available", never zero, and overlapping date ranges block a total instead of counting days twice.

Track your work: record which details changed and when. Review before-and-after figures with their source and definition. The changes made between two periods appear next to the figures, but the tool does not claim that a later increase was caused by a particular edit. No AI guesses: every status and every number shows how it was reached.

Try the two fictional demos — one workshop on four listing platforms, and twelve branches in three regions with their own phones, a mobile service area and a head-office number listed by mistake — then buy once for the full online tool and the offline file, or open it with an active PRO subscription.

What you get

  • Canonical details per location: name, address (or a hidden street for a service area), phone in international format, website and opening hours of the local week, with department / region.
  • Dated listing snapshots per platform with link, evidence text and attached files; a newer observation is a new record, earlier facts are kept and corrected only with a reason.
  • Field-by-field consistency check as of any date: match, different, missing, unknown, not applicable or needs review — with the reason for each, and "4 of 6 comparable fields match" instead of a score.
  • Careful normalisation: spaces and letter case ignored for names, unit numbers and accents never dropped, phones compared in E.164 with the location's country, utm_ parameters ignored but paths kept case-sensitive, overnight hours split across days.
  • Desk view: locations, the linked map of listing sources, the list of concrete discrepancies and a timeline of recorded changes with the chosen periods.
  • Performance comparison of two compatible periods: same metric, source and definition; per-day rates; change in % only from a positive base; partial and missing data marked, never filled with zero.
  • Change log with dates, reasons and evidence references, shown beside the figures as an observation — never as proof of effect.
  • Listing consistency report (print / PDF) with sources and dates, CSV exports of snapshots, discrepancies, period comparison, change log and performance rows; CSV/XLSX imports; full backups; 8 languages.

How it works

  1. Enter the correct details. One canonical record per location — or import canonical_locations.csv for all branches at once, grouped by department or region.
  2. Record what listings show. A dated snapshot per platform with its link and evidence. Fields you did not look at are marked "not checked" and stay unknown.
  3. Check details. Every field is compared as of the date you choose; each difference is listed with its snapshot and the reason.
  4. Log changes and compare periods. Record your profile edits, import available performance exports and compare two compatible periods — as an observation, not a cause.

Limits

This release does not publish to Google, connect to private profiles, scrape Maps rankings or guarantee visibility. You provide accessible observations and exports. It does not generate customer reviews or claim that all inconsistencies are ranking penalties. Up to 25 locations and 100,000 observations (listing snapshots and performance rows together); one import file up to 50,000 rows. Phone numbers are read with the countries in the built-in table; anything ambiguous is marked for your review.

Questions

Does it update my profile automatically?

No. It does not publish to Google or any other platform and does not connect to private profiles. You record what you observe and the changes you make; the tool compares and documents them.

Can I compare branches?

Yes, without replacing their individual details. Each location keeps its own canonical phone, address and hours; you can filter by department or region and compare periods for one location, one region or all active locations.

Are call clicks actual calls?

No, they are the source metric supplied: clicks on a call button. Direction requests are not visits, and daily unique-view counts summed over a month are not the number of different people.

Does it prove SEO ROI?

No, it documents observations and changes. A change recorded between two periods is shown next to the figures, but the tool does not claim it caused a later increase.

What if a field was not checked or my own detail is not entered?

It counts as unknown — never as missing or wrong — and is excluded from the "x of y comparable fields" count, with its own separate number.

How are phone numbers and links compared?

Phones are compared in international E.164 form after reading them with the location's country; a number without a country or with an extension is marked for review. Links ignore scheme and host letter case, default ports, fragments and utm_ tracking parameters; other query parameters and the case of the path are kept, and http vs https is shown for review.

Does this use AI?

No. Statuses and figures follow the rules shown in the tool. Every result shows how it was reached.

What is included in a one-time purchase?

The full online tool, the self-contained offline package, a guide, templates and your own reports and backups, under the licence shown at checkout.
