A workshop explaining dispatch, a retailer documenting returns, or an operations manager maintaining procedures across departments. Your procedure stays based on how your business works: you write the steps and the tool checks their structure.
Give each instruction a purpose, trigger, owner and expected result. Add actions, images, completion criteria and decisions with named outcomes. Review the whole sequence alongside the document your team will receive. Find missing links, unreachable steps and loops before marking a procedure ready.
A polished document can still send a new employee to a step that does not exist. Structural checks show the exact step and the correction needed. Where you enter durations, the tool shows the shortest and longest sequential path. An expected duration is shown only when every decision has explicit probabilities.
Worked example from the fictional demo: checking an approved request takes 2 minutes, the stock decision 0, then either 3 minutes to pick and pack (in stock) or 5 minutes to order the part (order required), and 1 minute to record the dispatch. The sequential paths take 6 and 8 minutes. With an explicitly assumed 60% / 40% split, the expected handling time is 6.8 minutes; at $30 an hour for every role the paths cost $3.00 and $4.00, expected $3.40. Supplier delivery time is not included because it was not entered as a step.
For a growing business: keep procedures organised by department, location and owner. Import structured records, filter the library and see which documents need review. Print a full instruction or a shorter working reference without rebuilding it in another editor.
Marking an instruction ready stores a snapshot of that revision with its SHA-256. Editing it later continues the same document as the next revision; the released revision stays in the history and every export is made from one saved snapshot.
What you receive: the full browser tool, printable instruction and reference PDFs, register exports and complete backups. A one-time purchase also includes the offline program. PRO includes full online use and your document exports while active; the offline program is separate.
What you get
- Studio screen: instruction library, the step sequence and a live document preview side by side; on a phone the list, the steps and the document are separate tabs.
- Instructions with code, title, department, site, owner role, purpose, trigger, scope, inputs, expected result, revision, effective and review dates.
- Steps of three kinds — action, condition with 2–5 named outcomes, finish — with responsible role, minutes, material cost, completion criterion and an optional image.
- Structural check: unique ids, existing next steps, one start, every step reachable, no loops, a finish reachable from every step — each problem with the step and the correction.
- Shortest and longest sequential path, expected duration only with explicit probabilities, path cost from entered hourly rates in exact decimals; unknown values stay unknown, never zero.
- Ready only without blocking issues: each release keeps its snapshot and SHA-256; returning to draft needs a reason and creates the next revision of the same document.
- Full instruction PDF with numbered steps, images, outcomes and criteria; short reference PDF; CSV of the register, steps and check results; complete backups.
- All-or-nothing CSV import of instruction headers and of steps with a preview of every error and conflict; filters by department, site, owner, status and review date; 8 languages.
How it works
- Company. Name, currency and paper size; departments, sites and the roles that carry out the steps, with optional hourly rates.
- Instruction. Purpose, trigger, owner, scope, inputs, expected result, revision, effective and review dates.
- Sequence. Actions, conditions with named outcomes and finishes, linked by step id — with times, criteria and images.
- Check and document. Fix what the check lists, mark the revision ready and print the full instruction or the short reference.
Limits
This is a procedure editor and structural checker. It does not invent your procedures, prove that a method is safe or legally compliant, or record employee training completion. Decision paths are exclusive and sequential; parallel scheduling is not modelled. Waiting time is included only when you enter it as a step. Probabilities are scenario assumptions, not measured reliability. No exchange rates: rates in different currencies give no money total. Not an LMS and not shift planning.
Questions
Does it write procedures with AI?
No: you supply the content. The tool checks the structure of the sequence you wrote and lays out the document. The same input always gives the same result.
Can I use it across departments?
Yes, within one workspace and the published capacity: up to 500 instructions, 25 departments and sites, with filters by department, site, owner, status and review date.
Can I print a shorter instruction?
Yes, the reference PDF uses the same saved procedure as the full instruction.
Why is there no expected duration?
An expected duration is shown only when every decision on the way has a probability for each outcome and they add up to 100%. Without probabilities you still see the shortest and longest sequential path.
What happens when I change a released instruction?
You return it to draft with a reason. The released revision and its snapshot stay in the history; your changes become the next revision of the same document.
Does the review date send reminders?
No. It is the date by which the document should be reviewed; the library and the register show which instructions are overdue or due within 30 days.
Can I enter my own data in the demo?
No, the demo is a fixed example; full entry opens after purchase or with PRO.
What is included in a one-time purchase?
The full online tool, the self-contained offline package, a guide, import templates and your own documents and backups, under the licence shown at checkout.
Is it included in PRO?
Active PRO Week, Month and Year subscribers can use the full online tool, including documents and backups. The offline program is included only with a one-time purchase.
What happens if PRO ends?
You can still view and back up your existing local records. Creating or editing requires renewed PRO or a one-time purchase. A separate one-time purchase remains valid independently of PRO.
Where are my records stored?
In your browser on this device, images included. Save regular backups: clearing browser storage can remove local records.
Does it prove our procedure is compliant?
No. It checks completeness and structure. Whether a method is safe or meets legal requirements needs a qualified review of the actual work.
