How it works
- Add demand. Items, base unit, explicit unit conversions, monthly demand and stock.
- Enter offers. Each quote in its own currency and packaging, with the exchange rate written as "1 unit = X", tiers, MOQ, lead time, payment terms and usable yield.
- Allocate costs. Freight, insurance, duties and other costs of each shipment, spread over its lines; recoverable tax shown separately.
- Model the transition. Samples, testing, tooling, training, extra stock, overlap and exit cost, with Base, Delay and Lower-yield values you set.
- Compare. Offer price → landed cost → cost per usable unit → cash needed for the change → payback date.

Does it use AI?
No. The tool uses explicit calculations and rules. Results depend on the records and assumptions you enter.
Do I need a subscription?
No subscription is required for the one-time purchase of this product. Access through TidyCents PRO follows the current PRO terms.
Where is my data stored?
Working records are stored on your device. Keep a backup, especially before changing browsers, clearing browser data or moving to another device.
Can several people edit the same workspace at once?
This version is designed for one local workspace. It does not provide simultaneous shared editing.
Can I move my records to another device?
Yes. Export a full backup and restore it in the same product on the other device.
Does it connect to my bank or accounting software?
This version works with direct entry and supported file imports. It does not automatically connect to your bank or accounting system.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes. The demo contains fictional records and prepared scenarios so you can inspect the screens and results before buying.
Does it look up duty rates or exchange rates?
No. You enter the duty and tax rates from your own documents and each exchange rate as "1 unit of one currency = X units of the other", in the direction you choose. Both readings are shown, and an expired rate is flagged.
How is recoverable import tax treated?
Only the part you mark as recoverable is paid and refunded in the cash calendar of the change. It never becomes part of the cost per usable unit; the non-recoverable part does.
What does "proven optimum" mean in the allocation?
The search examined every combination of whole packs or excluded it with a proven lower bound, so no cheaper combination exists within your limits. If you cancel or the 60-second limit is reached, the result is labelled "feasible" or "time limit" and is not called the cheapest.
What if I do not know the usable yield?
Leave it empty. Empty is not 100 %: the offer is marked "insufficient data" and is not compared until you enter a yield.
