What this does that other boutique templates do not: it manages real variants, not just styles. Most apparel spreadsheets give you one row per product and stop — so a sold-out Medium in black hides inside a healthy style total and you find out when a customer does. This kit gives every size × colour × print its own SKU with its own stock, its own sell-through and its own reorder flag, so the exact variant that is running out is the one that lights up REORDER or OUT OF STOCK. It covers every garment type and all four seasons, men, women, kids and unisex, and it ships with a built-in size chart that converts XS–XXL to Women US / UK / EU and Men chest / EU — the "what's that in EU?" question answered on the same file, not googled. That is the headache competitors leave you to solve by hand.

On top of the variant matrix, the money is done properly. Each style carries its material/fabric, season and care instructions (100% linen, merino wool, dry-clean only) ready for your tickets, labels and website, right next to wholesale cost and retail price — which give margin % and markup % side by side, named correctly, because a 100% markup is only a 50% margin and that confusion costs owners real money. Set a clearance price and the kit shows the margin it still leaves, so you never mark down into a loss; set a target margin and it gives the exact price to charge; and it shows the break-even units at your price so you know how many of each style pays the rent.

The stock room is the part a plain pricing sheet leaves out. Per variant: opening plus received minus sold gives what you hold, valued at cost; a sell-through % shows how fast each size and colour is moving; and a reorder point built from that variant's own daily sales and its supplier's lead time flags it OK, REORDER or OUT OF STOCK before a size sells out. The Sales sheet logs each day and the Dashboard adds it all up: revenue, cost of goods, gross profit and margin, net after fixed costs and the tax you should set aside, stock value, how many variants need reordering and which styles earn the most.

Built for Excel 2016+ and Google Sheets with classic, compatible formulas only — no macros, no add-ons, nothing locked. Any currency (one symbol cell). Sample data for a real boutique — women's, men's and kids across dresses, shirts, jeans, knitwear, coats and accessories, with combined colours and printed variants — is filled in so every number and the chart are alive on first open; clear the yellow cells and it is yours. Every headline figure in this listing was measured from the built file, recalculated by LibreOffice and checked against an independent model of the same arithmetic.

Questions

Does it handle sizes, colours and prints — every variant?

Yes, and this is the point of the kit. The Variants sheet is a full matrix: every size × colour × print combination is its own SKU with its own stock, sell-through and reorder flag, so a sold-out Medium in black is caught on its own instead of hiding inside a style total. Printed and plain versions of the same colour are separate SKUs, and combined colours (e.g. "Navy/Cream") are just another colour value. Add as many rows as you carry.

Does it cover every kind of garment and season, for men, women and kids?

Yes. The Products sheet has type, gender and season columns and the sample data spans dresses, shirts, jeans, knitwear, coats, skirts, hoodies and accessories across SS, AW and all-year, for women, men, kids and unisex. Add, rename or remove rows freely — nothing is hard-coded to one range.

How do the size conversions work?

The Size Chart sheet maps XS–XXL to Women US / UK / EU and Men chest (inches) / EU, so you can print the correct label for each market and answer "what's that in EU?" without leaving the file. Edit it to match your suppliers' grading.

Does it work in Google Sheets?

Yes. Upload the .xlsx to Google Drive and choose File → Save as Google Sheets. Every formula (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, IFERROR) and the chart are Sheets-compatible. A short PDF walks you through it.

Which currency does it use?

Any. You set a currency symbol on Start Here; it is decorative only — the arithmetic uses plain numbers, so the file works in any country with no tax rules baked in.

How does the markdown / clearance margin work?

Enter a markdown price next to a style and the kit shows the margin it still leaves against your wholesale cost, so you can see at a glance whether a sale price is still profitable before you put it on the rack.

What does sell-through tell me?

Sell-through % is units sold ÷ (units sold + units on hand) — how much of what you bought has already sold. A high sell-through means reorder; a low one means it may be time to mark it down. The Variants sheet shows it per SKU automatically, so you see it size-by-size and colour-by-colour.

What is the difference between margin and markup?

Margin is profit as a share of the price; markup is profit as a share of the cost. A 100% markup is only a 50% margin. The Products sheet shows both, named correctly, so you never confuse them again.

Is anything locked or macro-based?

No. No macros, no protected sheets, no external links. Blue-on-yellow cells are your inputs; black cells are formulas.
